Our automated, consistent backup process protects you from human error, power failures or any number of causes that might lead data loss. By outsourcing your data backup to Hostway's expert administrators, you free your staff to focus on other mission-critical projects.

Technical Requirements

• Available for both Linux and Windows Servers
• Daily incremental
• Weekly full level-0 backup

Pricing

• Linux Managed Backup starts at $99 per month
• Windows Veritas Managed Backup starts at $99 per month
• $99 setup fee for each restore request

Terms and Conditions

• Hostway recommends that directories have a maximum of a few hundred files for maximum efficiency.
• The day and approximate time of the daily incremental and weekly full backup is initially preset by Hostway (typically late-evening CST) but can be changed upon the customer's request.
• To setup services, the backup system requires direct access to the customer's server to copy stored information.
• The customer must agree to allow Hostway this access as long as the backup service continues. The customer is responsible for maintaining this access for backup services. Changing this information without notifying Hostway will result in cessation of backup services and at no fault to Hostway.
• The number of days that files are archived varies depending on disk size and usage. Customers can expect archived files to go back approximately two weeks.
