The CGI script may be written in a number of popular scripting languages.

Setting Up Your MySQL Database:
Before you use MySQL with your ValueWeb account, you must first create a MySQL database on our servers by going to the MySQL section of your ValueWeb Control Panel. Use the following information regardless of whether you will use ODBC drivers, a CGI script, or other means of connecting to your database.
Server (or Host):
mysql.yourdomain (replacing yourdomain with your actual domain name).
Database Name:
Same as your main ValueWeb username
Username:
Same as your main ValueWeb username
Password:
Chosen when creating your database through the MySQL Control Panel.
Port:
3306
